We are starting to gear up for Brad leaving, and with that, there have been quite a few activities planned for the families. We had a going away party at the bowling alley the other night. It was nice to be able to get together with friends.
Last night, at Zoe and Georgia's school, they had a dinner for the families. They read the book, A Paper Hug. Then, the kids made paper hugs for the daddies to take with them to Iraq. The kids had a great time!
This morning, Clayton's school had a pancake breakfast for the families. Clayton's class got up and sang It's a Grand Ol' Flag. It was pretty cute to see; Clayton was so excited!
